Effective date: May 13, 2026

Version: 1.0

These Terms explain the conditions for using Dra Lia. Dra Lia helps users organize laboratory exam PDFs and extract structured information from them, but it does not provide medical diagnosis, emergency care, or a substitute for professional judgment.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By creating an account, signing in, uploading a document, or otherwise using Dra Lia, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What Dra Lia Does

Dra Lia is a mobile and web-supported service for storing laboratory exam documents and converting information from PDF files into structured exam data. The service may show processing status, extracted exam items, reference ranges, and indicators such as out-of-range values when available.

Document processing can use automated systems, including optical extraction and language-model services such as OpenAI. Automated output can be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or affected by the quality and content of the uploaded document.

3. Not Medical Advice

Dra Lia is an information-management tool. It is not a healthcare provider, medical device, emergency service, clinical decision system, or substitute for a doctor, laboratory, pharmacist, or other qualified professional. Do not ignore medical advice, delay care, change medication, or make treatment decisions based only on Dra Lia.

If you have urgent symptoms or a medical emergency, contact local emergency services or a qualified healthcare professional immediately.

4. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and devices secure. Dra Lia uses Firebase Authentication and may support email, Google, Apple, passwordless, or other sign-in methods as they become available. You must provide accurate account information and promptly secure your account if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Your Documents and Permissions

You should upload only laboratory exam documents and related files that you have the right to use. You are responsible for ensuring that uploads do not violate another person's privacy, confidentiality, intellectual-property rights, or applicable law. If you upload information about another person, you confirm that you have appropriate authority or consent to do so.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

7. Service Availability and Changes

Dra Lia is under active development. Features may change, be unavailable, or depend on third-party services such as Firebase, OpenAI, Cloudflare R2, Railway, Crashlytics, Sentry, Resend, Crisp, or app-store platforms. We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service when needed for security, reliability, product direction, or legal compliance.

8. Plans, Payments, and Subscriptions

Dra Lia may offer free and paid plans, including Lia Plus or future paid features. Pricing, storage limits, credits, benefits, renewal rules, cancellation paths, and invoices will be shown in the app or store checkout flow when paid plans are enabled. Store-managed subscriptions are also subject to Apple App Store or Google Play terms.

9. Intellectual Property

Dra Lia, including its software, design, name, branding, and service structure, is owned by Dra Lia or its licensors. You keep ownership of the documents and information you upload, subject to the permission you grant us to store, process, analyze, display, and transmit that content as needed to operate the service.

10. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information, uploaded documents, telemetry, analytics, support data, and deletion handling are described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account from the app when the feature is available. Deletion is intended to remove or irreversibly sever your identity, user-owned documents, extracted exam data, and related product records from primary product systems, subject to limited retention needed for security, legal compliance, backups, provider logs, or fraud prevention.

12. Disclaimers

Dra Lia is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, medical suitability, or error-free automated extraction. You are responsible for independently verifying any information before relying on it.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Dra Lia will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profits, goodwill, or medical opportunity arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms when the product, legal requirements, or third-party services change. The effective date and version on this page identify the current version. Material changes may be surfaced in the app, at sign-in, or by another reasonable notice method.
